After tackling New York and touring the U.S. and Canada, Broadway veteran Jenny Lee Stern has settled back in her hometown and has something to sing about! This time, her two young daughters Nora and Patsy (ages 8 & 9) join the bill to serve you some of your favorite Great American Songbook selections. Through song and story, Jenny will share some heartfelt tales of the tremendous joys and sometimes struggles of being a showbiz family. But she says one thing is for certain: “We’re Together Wherever We Go!”

This powerful documentary reveals the movement in Mississippi in the 1950’s and 60’s from the point of view of the courageous women who lived it – and emerged as its grassroots leaders. Nationally recognized baritone vocalist, Keith Spencer and award-winning composer, arranger and pianist, Peter Hilliard, team up once again to present a special concert event celebrating Black History Month, Lord, Write My Name.

Lord, Write My Name is a musical tapestry of African American Spirituals interspersed with narratives, poetry, and letters penned by freed Slaves and iconic Black figures throughout history. This inspirational journey explores slaves’ mourning in servitude, the redemptive story of the Gospel, and ultimately, reclaimed identity as a freed people.

In celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month, we are partnering with Hopewell Theater to present “That Old Black Magic,” featuring baritone showman, Keith Spencer.
